Here you may find more information about our holiday villa on the Adriatic Coast in Italy.

The interior is very spacious with high ceilings, yet is inviting and cozy and full of natural light. The ground floor consists of 4 spacious bedrooms: 1 large master bedroom with an en-suite Jacuzzi bathroom and dressing room; as well as 3 other bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The large living room and dining room overlooks wonderful views, and the outside terrace provides a large space to experience and enjoy meals "al fresco". The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The underground floor has ample indoor parking.

Beach

The vast Adriatic beach coastline takes just under 15-minute to drive from the villa where you can enjoy the beach and unwind in one of the many beach cafés. The mountain range where you can enjoy the nature or a ski in the winter stands under a one-hour drive away.

Skiing

The region has 15 ski resorts with 368 km of runs in 172 different ski tracks, all within a 30 minute drive away. The most popular resorts are Roccaraso, Campo Felice and Campo Imperatore. Located on the highest altitudes of the Apennines, these ski areas are at heights nearly comparable to many resorts in the Alps. Because of their proximity to the Adriatic and the winter precipitation patterns, they often have more snow than the Alps. Abruzzo also is popular for cross country skiing, especially on the high plain of Campo Imperatore in the Gran Sasso as well as the Piana Grande in the Majella.

Travel

There are direct flights from London, Paris, Belgium, Berlin and Frankfurt Han and once you land its a 15 - 20 minutes drive to our villa. Aeroporto D'Abruzzo (Pescara Airport) is just within 10 km by train, Pescara Centrale (Pescara Main Station) - only 7 km.

Further details

The nearby charming Montesilvano Colle village with it's friendly locals has a bar cum coffee shop, restaurants, a pizzeria, a bakery, a pharmacy, a news stand and a post office as well as "La Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo" (The Church of Saint Michael Archangel). Just below the village sits "La Chiesa della Madonna della Neve" (The Church of the Madonna of the Snow). The centre of Pescara, with its designer and high street shops, is within a short 15-minute drive from the villa.

There are also small charming characteristic villages and open markets in the nearby area which are ideal for day trips to explore - and not to mention local festivals. In the evenings, the beach cafes and the old town of Pescara Porto as well as the new Pescara transform themselves into vibrant night spots. Or if you like you can even catch a bus, train or drive on the "Auto Strada" to Rome for a day trip which takes only around 2 1/2 hours to get there.
